Sandy Buckner - Sandy is a Medical Assistant. Her responsibilities include checking patients into the examining rooms, verifies their medicines, checks the patient’s blood pressure and chest x-rays. She also schedules patients for testing (CT scans, PET scans, bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, chest x-rays) and makes appointments with other doctors as well as refilling their medications.
Tim Allen, RRT - Tim is a Respiratory Therapist and performs pulmonary function tests on patients, orients patients to the sleep lab, calls in orders for CPAP and oxygen, does oxygen saturation tests as well as chest x-rays. Tim will also prepare patients for bronchoscopies, assist the doctors during procedures, and later assist patients during recovery.
Holly Stephens - Holly is one of our Medical Assistants. She will greet patients as they enter the building, check them into the examination rooms, obtain their blood pressures, check their medication lists. Holly also performs chest x-rays.
Pattie Johnson - Patti is our front desk receptionist. She is the primary person responsible for answering the phone, greeting and checking in patients at the office, and filing medical records.
Bill Gunn, RRT, RPSGT - With many years experience as a respiratory therapist, Bill is considered “the expert” of pulmonary function testing in Kansas City. As well, with greater than 10 years experience, Bill is a registered polysomnographer and manages our sleep lab.
Cindy Woody, R.N. - Cindy is our Practice Manager. She coordinates patient care in the office, including seeing patients in the office and assisting in office procedures. Cindy with greater than 10 years experience in intensive care nursing, assists with bronchoscopies and established and new patient evaluations.
Crissy Warren - An administrative assistant, Crissy schedules new patient appointments, processes medical records requests, assists the receptionist with front desk tasks, and assists the practice manager with day-to-day business activities.
Bill Vanzandt, RRT, RPSGT - Bill is a Respiratory Therapist with more than 25 years experience. He specializes in diagnostic tests including pulmonary function, blood gases, oximetry and bronchial provocation. Bill has years of experience and board recognition as a polysomnographer.
Terry Felder, RRT, RPSGT - Terry is responsible for the supervision of sleep studies by technicians each night. With several years experience in sleep medicine and respiratory therapy, Terry trains our technicians for accurate, comfortable sleep testing.
Cathi Nichols - Our sleep lab secretary, Cathi schedules all sleep studies, communicates with patients and primary care physicians, the results of those directed, sends information to the medical equipment company of the patient's choice to have CPAP or BiPAP initiated by her physician orders.
